The Stern family was among the most prominent merchant families of interwar Brno. A lecture by researcher Michal Doležel will present the story of Albert and Emil Stern’s successful business, their Art Nouveau commercial building on Minoritská Street, their representative villa in Pisárky, and the family’s tragic fate during the Nazi occupation.
