Lemongrab (Berlin, DE) is a garage punk 4-piece known for their raw, cathartic live shows and art punk-fuelled studio efforts. Their influences travel from The Stooges’ proto-punk shenanigans all the way to The Clean’s jangly earworms, taking scenic detours for Pylon’s weirdo pop hooks on their way to Bikini Kill’s riot-friendly neighborhood. The group first introduced their patented brand of punk-tinged garage rock by way of elapsed-play, The Ones with the Brooms (2016), and debut full-length, It Doesn’t Sound Good but It Feels Awesome (2019) before relocating from Montréal, QC to Berlin, DE in 2020. Then came The Wet Album (2021), a 6-song essay further embracing their punk ethos, and sophomore full-length I Spy with My Little Eye (2024) via niche tastemakers U-Bac Records. Since forming, Lemongrab have received invitations from Synästhesie Fest (DE), Supersonic Block Party (FR), Jenseits von Millionen (DE), Sled Island (CA), and POP Montréal (CA), sharing the stage with the likes of L.A. Witch, Broncho, Bodega, Cumgirl8, and Meatbodies.
