In Jewish tradition, the arrival of Shabbat is compared to the arrival of a cherished guest. As the sun sets and the Shabbat candles are lit, a time of rest, reflection, togetherness, and joy begins, bringing a pause to the rhythm of everyday life.
Join us at the long table set in the space of the former Great Synagogue and welcome Shabbat together with Rabbi Kamila Kopřivová through traditional blessings, songs, and a shared gathering.
A small refreshment is included in the ticket price. You are also invited to enrich the atmosphere of the shared Shabbat table by bringing your own festive specialty to share with others. Kosher wine and additional delicacies will be available for purchase on site.
The event will be held in Czech with English interpretation.
